Yogi government’s master plan for 59 cities of UP, know what is going on

The master plans being made for 59 cities of Uttar Pradesh will be re-examined. It will be seen that what percentage of pond, reservoir and green area has been left. What was their number in the previous master plan and how many have been kept. Along with this, information has been sought from the development authorities on the prescribed format.

A master plan is being prepared keeping in view the situation for the next 20 years for the planned development of the cities under the AMRUT scheme. The master plan of Ayodhya has been approved. Some development authorities had complained to the government recently about non-cooperation by the consultant. After this, it has been decided that necessary information should be sought from the development authorities for this.

A committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Secretary Housing for its examination at the government level. The development authorities have been told that for the master plan being prepared under the AMRUT scheme, information has been sought on the basis of the map provided by the National Remote Sensing Center, Hyderabad, for confirmation of the consultant ground report and its verification by the development authority.

Along with this, the Revenue Department has asked for information about the figures related to the ponds and reservoirs marked in the city. According to the draft of the master plan approved by the development authority board before the exhibition and after that, according to the recommendation of the objection and suggestion committee, the details of approval by the board have been sought. After this the master plan will be approved.
