One such case has come to the fore from Barabanki in UP, where not one, not two, but four women have got their husbands in trouble due to their love affair. In fact, when the first installment of Pradhan Mantri Urban Housing Scheme reached the accounts of women beneficiaries, four women eloped with their lovers after taking the money. The department issued a notice for not starting the construction after the release of the installment. Their husbands disclosed this. On the other hand, the husbands of two women beneficiaries gave an application to the department and demanded to stop the installment. He says that sir, don’t send the installment now, my wife has eloped with her lover after taking the money of the first installment.

Women are also beneficiaries in this scheme. The first installment of housing was sent to the accounts of four women beneficiaries of Nagar Panchayat Belhara, Banki, Jaidpur and Siddhaur. PO Duda Saurabh Tripathi had sent a notice and ordered to start the construction immediately after the house construction work of these beneficiaries was not started. The construction did not start even after the notice. When the notice was sent again for recovery, the husbands of the four women reached the office and told that sir, my wife has gone away with her lover 50 thousand rupees of the first instalment. The second installment should be stopped. Now the officials are worried about how to recover from these beneficiaries.
20 lakh will be recovered from 40 beneficiaries
So far, the first installment of housing construction has been sent to the accounts of 4063 beneficiaries under the Prime Minister’s Urban Housing Scheme. Out of this, there are 40 beneficiaries who have withdrawn money from the account and have not started the construction work. After issuing two notices to these beneficiaries, the department is now preparing to issue RC against them if the work does not start. Rs 20 lakh has to be recovered from all the beneficiaries. PO Duda told that they will be blacklisted after recovery from all. Will not be able to apply again.
PO Duda Saurabh Tripathi says that four women beneficiaries have left their husbands and gone with others after getting the installment of the house. Their husbands have given this information after the notice was issued. Two prayer letters were received from Fatehpur that their wives have eloped with others, so their installments have been stopped. Efforts are being made to recover from all.
