A woman constable died two days before her marriage in Ahmedabad village of Sardhana in Meerut. On Sunday, amidst the happiness of marriage, turmeric ceremony was taking place in the house. After the ritual, she went to the bathroom to take a bath and died there. As soon as the incident was known, there was chaos in the family. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem. The cause of death will be clear only after the post mortem report comes. The relatives are in bad condition by crying.
Geeta Talian, daughter of Gajraj Singh, a resident of Ahmedabad village, was a constable in the UP Police and was currently posted in Muzaffarnagar Vigilance. Two days later, on Tuesday, February 7, Geeta was married. Marriage preparations were going on in the house, marriage rituals were being completed. There was a turmeric ceremony on Sunday. After the ritual was over, Geeta went to the bathroom of the house to take a bath. She went inside, but could not come back out.
After a long time, when Geeta did not come out, the relatives raised their voice. When no answer was received, the relatives somehow opened the door and found Geeta dead in the bathroom. The family members were shocked to see this. He immediately informed the police.
CO Brijesh Kumar Singh and station in-charge Ramakant Pachauri immediately reached the spot. He investigated. Later the body was sent for postmortem. Police is waiting for the post mortem report to come. The cause of death will be clear only after the post mortem report comes.

Geeta’s marriage was fixed with Sumit Tewatia, a resident of Gulavathi Bulandshahr. His marriage procession was to come on February 7.
