Khushi Dubey, arrested in the Vikas Dubey case, is still inside the jail almost 13 days after getting bail from the Supreme Court. When the court became strict about this, UCO Bank and Panki police presented the bail verification report. Both had kept the verification report pending for a week. The court had ordered everyone to appear in person. However, the verification of Naubasta Police and Registry Office is still awaited. Only after the report comes from there too, the way for Khushi Dubey to come out of jail will be clear.
Khushi Dubey, who was in jail for 30 months, was granted bail by the Supreme Court on January 4. After this bails were filed on his behalf in the sessions court. On this, the court had sought a verification report from the bank, police and registry office in a week. When the verification report did not come, Khushi’s lawyer Shivakant Dixit filed an application in the court alleging that the police and the bank were deliberately delaying the verification.
On this, ADJ-13 Shailendra Kumar Verma had issued a notice to the Panki and Naubasta police station chiefs as well as the branch manager of UCO Bank Armapur and summoned them on January 19. As soon as the notice was issued, the verification report was filed in the court by sending a special carrier on behalf of UCO Bank on Tuesday afternoon. By the evening, the advocate of Panki police station reached the Juvenile Justice Board along with ADJ-13 court and handed over the verification report. Now the verification of registry office and central bank along with Naubasta police station is awaited.
The commentators could not tell whether the allegation is made out or not.
In the fake SIM case registered against Khushi Dubey, the preliminary investigator appeared as a witness in the Juvenile Justice Board on Tuesday. He could not answer all the questions in the cross-examination of the defence. The board has fixed February 8 as the next date for hearing. The hearing of the case of fake SIM registered on Khushi was held in the Juvenile Justice Board on Tuesday.
Here the preliminary investigator SI Ramshankar Pal appeared on behalf of the prosecution. Defense counsel Shivakant Dixit cross-examined him. Whose ID was used in the fake SIM, what information was collected about Gayatri Tiwari. On these questions, Vivechak said that he went to Gayatri Tiwari’s house, where his son told that mother is not at home.
The defense questioned whether the ID was in the name of his mother, so Khushi Dubey was accused or not. On this the critic staggered and said that he could not tell this. Brought from jail, Khushi was presented before the board.
