What were the cut off marks in staff nurse exam? High court sought information from Public Service Commission

The Allahabad High Court has sought information from the Public Service Commission Uttar Pradesh about the final cutoff marks of Staff Nurse / Sister Grade Examination released on 23 August 2022. The court has asked the commission to tell what were the minimum cut off marks in the exam. Prior to this, the records related to the examination were presented before the court by the advocate of the commission, after which the court returned the records to the advocate. Justice Jaspreet Singh has given this order after listening to Advocate Anurag Tripathi on Priya Sharma’s petition.

In the petition, the staff nurse examination result has been challenged, saying that the experience marks of the petitioner were not added to the written examination. If her experience marks were added to the written test, she could have cleared the test. The petitioner had attached a certificate of five years’ experience.

It has been demanded in the petition that the revised result released on 23 August 2022 should be canceled and a fresh result should be issued. After going through the records related to the examination, the court has asked the counsel for the commission to explain what were the minimum cut off marks in the examination. The next hearing of the case will be on February 8.
