Former Pakistan team captain Javed Miandad strongly attacked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over its current stand on the ongoing controversy over the Asia Cup 2023. The whole issue has arisen regarding the hosting of the Asia Cup 2023, as it is hosted by Pakistan, but the BCCI has made it clear that it will not send a team to tour Pakistan. In such a situation, the Asian Cricket Council ie ACC has decided to organize the tournament at a neutral venue, due to which Pakistan is upset. This is the reason why former Pakistan cricketers are attacking India.

Former Pakistan captain Javed Miandad has made a comment, on which India’s veteran cricketer Venkatesh Prasad has given a sharp reaction and has stopped speaking. Regarding the meeting held in Bahrain on Saturday, he said that ICC should take strict action against BCCI as to why they do not want to come to Pakistan. He had said at a public event, “I had said earlier also that if they (Pakistan) don’t come, then go to hell. We don’t care.”

Miandad had said, “I have always supported Pakistan and I can never leave India no matter what, but now we have to look at our side and we have to fight for it. We don’t care about anyone.” Not because we are hosting our cricket. It is ICC’s job. If ICC cannot control this issue then this body has no job. They need to apply same rules for every team. If such teams do not come then they should be banned. India hoga, apne liye hoga. Humare liye hain.”

Retweeting the same article, Venkatesh Prasad wrote, “But they are refusing to go to hell.” Venkatesh Prasad has told in just a few gestures that Pakistan is hell. It can also be said that the match of Pakistan Super League i.e. PSL, being organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board, had to be canceled because of the bomb blasts on Sunday.

Please tell that the Pakistan Cricket Board has also threatened that if the Indian team does not come to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023, then the Pakistan team will also not participate in the World Cup to be held in India. Even if reports are to be believed, PCB is demanding to move ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 out of India. The decision on this will be taken next month, when the heads of the cricket boards of both the countries will be part of the meeting of ICC and ACC.
