UP Teachers Transfer: There is good news for council teachers of UP, who have been waiting for transfer and adjustment within the district for years. Transfers of teachers will now be done twice a year i.e. in summer and winter vacations. Principal Secretary Basic Education Deepak Kumar has issued a mandate in this regard on Friday. These transfers will be on mutual basis.
Director General School Education Vijay Kiran Anand had sent a proposal to the government in December 2022 regarding transfer of teachers within the district on mutual basis. Based on this, this mandate has been issued. For this, there will be a committee headed by the Diet Principal in all the districts. Basic Shiksha Adhikari will be its member secretary and DIOS and Accounts Officer (Basic) will be members. There will be no compulsion to transfer subject-wise i.e. maths and science teachers in primary schools, but it will be taken care of in upper primary schools. The headmaster of the primary school shall be made the headmaster of the primary school.
He will be made assistant teacher in upper primary school. Similarly, Assistant Primary will be transferred to the post of Assistant Teacher in Primary and Assistant in Upper Primary to the post of Assistant Teacher in Upper Primary. The headmaster of the upper primary will be sent to the post of headmaster in the upper primary itself. Online applications will be taken for transfer of teachers. The Basic Education Officer will proceed only after verification from the Block Education Officer regarding the eligibility and ineligibility of the applications of both the teachers desirous of mutual transfer. The transferred teacher will have to take charge within seven working days.
Application for mutual transfer throughout the academic session
Online applications for mutual transfer will be accepted throughout the academic session. Its print will be submitted in the BSA office in 15 days. It will be verified by the Block Education Officer in 15 days. The committee will recommend the transfer within a month. Objection will be taken in 15 working days.
