DIOS PK Upadhyay said that schools up to class 8 will remain closed from January 17 to January 20.

At the same time, in Badaun, the DM has issued an order to keep schools up to class VIII closed for two days. Apart from this, classes from class nine to 12th will be conducted. On the other hand, in view of the cold in Gorakhpur, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert. In view of the winter, the holidays of schools from 1st to 12th in Gorakhpur have been extended. According to the new order of District Magistrate Krishna Karunesh, the schools will now remain closed till January 17.
All schools will open in Varanasi from Monday
