In this case, Ranjit Singh of Allapur has lodged a complaint against Vinod Singh, Laxmikant Chaturvedi and Priyanka Mishra at Georgetown police station for cheating and forgery of Rs 35 lakh in the name of job.
Ranjit Singh told the police that his relative Vinod Singh, a resident of Jaunpur, had told on phone that he had good relations with the PRO of the Food and Supplies Department, Laxmikant Chaturvedi. Vinod has given Rs 3.30 lakh per candidate to his nephew and brother-in-law for the job of Assistant Clerk in the Income Tax Department. Vinod made Laxmikant talk to Ranjeet by conferencing. Laxmikant, a resident of Pratapgarh, lived in Delhi. Laxmikant told Ranjeet that he had a domestic relationship with Priyanka Mishra, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax. The deal was done for 10 lakh for the job of Income Tax Inspector and 3.5 lakh for assistant clerk. Ranjit transferred Rs 3.5 lakh to his son Shiva, Rs 6 lakh 70 thousand to Vinod, Laxmikant and Rs 1.25 lakh to Priyanka online.
After receiving the money, Laxmikant Chaturvedi issued the Staff Selection Commission’s certificate, appointment letter, I-card and other documents.
