UP Board Exam: Rasuka will be imposed on those who mess up in board exams, the Director General has issued guidelines

Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has already started preparations in view of paper leaks and other irregularities during board exams in previous years. Continuous guidelines are being issued by the Council for fair examination, while the preparations are also being reviewed.

It has been said that Rasuka’s action will be taken against the culprits if any irregularities are found in the examination. Director General School Education Vijay Kiran Anand took video conferencing with the departmental officers on Friday and inquired about the preparations for the UP Board examination. Instructing to conduct copy-free and fair examination, he said that action will be taken against the culprits under Rasuka if any irregularities are found during the examination. Less than a month is left for the examination, in such a situation, the process of posting of Sector and Static Magistrates should be completed soon.

He directed the Joint Director of Education and DIOS to check the working of CC cameras and routers in the schools made centers and improve the system. Said to set up a district level control room and make it functional as soon as possible. Make sure to connect the district level control room with the state level control room. Emphasis was laid on improving the system of strong room for safe keeping of question papers. Regional Office, UP Board Additional Secretary Vinod Krishna, Joint Education Director Yogendra Nath Singh and DIOS Gyanendra Pratap Singh Bhadoria were also involved in the video conferencing.

Practical exam to be held from January 29

Intermediate practical examinations are to be held in Gorakhpur division from January 29 to February 5. While the board exams are starting from 16 February this time. A total of 220 examination centers have been set up for board examination in the district. While practical examinations will also be held only in those schools where CC cameras are installed and the number of students is 10 or more. This time a total of 150281 students will appear in the board examination in the district. Of these, 79380 students in high school and 70901 students in intermediate will take the exam.

The board has also made elaborate arrangements to ensure that there is no discrepancy in the answer sheets. Earlier the answer sheet used to come pinned with a stapler. This time the board has changed it. This time the copies will come stitched. Kodabar is also appearing on copies for the first time.
