In Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur, the police, along with the SOG, busted an inter-state gang cheating in the name of providing jobs. Police arrested six miscreants and recovered 12 mobiles, three Google-pay bar codes and 210 filled fake forms and other items from them. Apart from Jaunpur, the network of thugs is also in Ghazipur, Azamgarh and Ayodhya.
ASP Dr. Sanjay Kumar disclosed this matter in the police line on Monday. He told that the gang was active for a long time. On receiving information from the informers, Inspector Adesh Tyagi of Line Bazar, SOG in-charge Manoj Kumar Singh raided the house next to Maurya Medical at Dhannepur intersection. During this, six including two women were arrested. The thugs confessed that they used to dupe the youth in the name of getting them jobs.
Used to cheat like this
The ASP said that the miscreants of the inter-tribal gang used to cheat unemployed youths in the name of getting jobs in various companies in Jaunpur and surrounding districts. For this, they used to paste posters and pamphlets at public places. On which their mobile numbers were written. Through this, they used to take money from the unemployed and send them fake appointment letters on WhatsApp. Apart from this, used to collect in the name of dress and training. After getting the money, he used to close his office and abscond. Then in another district, by taking a new SIM with a fake ID, they used to start cheating again.
