Troubled by extortion, a man committed suicide by hanging himself in Tundla police station area of Firozabad, UP. He used to work in Agra’s Sahitya Bhavan Company. In the suicide note, he has mentioned about being troubled by demanding chauth on three youths of Agra. A case has been registered against the three accused on the complaint of the wife.
Subhash Chandra, 55 years old son of Amar Singh, resident of Salempur Nagla Khar, used to work in Sahitya Bhavan Company located in Sikandra area of Agra district. He ended his life by hanging himself at his house on Saturday night. The family members were surprised to see him hanging. When he shouted, the people of the neighborhood reached there. As soon as it was known, the police reached the spot. The police got him off with the help of the people.
He had died by hanging. His death created chaos in the family. The police have found a suicide note on a diary there. In the suicide note, the deceased has accused three youths of Agra of harassing them for extortion and demanding chauth. He has accused Badam Singh, Himanshu, and Babban Paliwal of bullying. All three are residents of the company.
The police has conducted the post-mortem of the dead body. The police have registered a case against the three on the Tahrir of the deceased’s wife Anita Devi. Police is investigating the case. Police say that a case has been registered. The search for the accused is on.
