There is heavy snowfall in the higher reaches of Dhanaulti, Chakrata, Chamoli, Joshimath, Chopta, Gaurikund in Uttarakhand. Snow fall continues in the high altitude areas including Shimla, Kullu-Manali in Himachal Pradesh. At the same time, snowfall will continue till January 24 in Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad.
