Garhmukteshwar
The river Ganga flows in Garhmukteshwar. It is said that here Lord Ganesha was shown the way to salvation by Lord Shiva, hence the name Garhmukteshwar Pada. brijghat
Brijghat is a pilgrimage center situated on the banks of the Ganges, at a distance of about 35 km from Hapur. A huge historical fair is organized at Ganga Ghat in Brijghat and surrounding area on Kartik Purnima. The view of Ganga Aarti at this place is really mesmerizing. Here you will see Vedanti Mandir, Ganga Mandir, Hanuman Mandir, Gangaghat and Falahari Mataji’s hut.
citadel
The fort is a famous pilgrimage center situated on the Hapur-Moradabad road. In mythological and religious contexts it is known as Khandav Van. It is said that Uma i.e. Parvati reached here for a bath with Kalash Parvat. The Shivling present here was established by Parshuram.
Peelukhwa
This town situated on the Hapur-Moradabad road is famous all over the country for the production of Khadi and other textiles. Pilkhuwa has 144 villages of Rajput caste, of which 60 are Tanwars and 84 are Rajputs, hence the name Satara-Chirsi.
Puth
A Puth city on the banks of the Ganges was known as Pushpavati. It is said that during the Mahabharata period, Pushpavati used to come here to bathe in the Ganges. There was a palace of King Karna in the nearby Lehrai village. When he used to visit the temple, he used to donate gold to the Brahmins.
