The journey to Uttar Pradesh and Delhi will be expensive, this much fare will be charged from UP roadways buses on these routes

UP has increased the fare of roadways buses. The passenger fare was increased by 25 paise per km after two years. Not only the increased fare will be applicable in UP Roadways buses, the fare will also increase from five to 15 in the Delhi and UP route buses of Uttarakhand Roadways. After the notification of UP State Transport Authority, the maximum fare of ordinary buses of UP Roadways has been increased to Rs 1.30 per passenger per km.

Now Rs 25 extra fare will have to be paid for traveling 100 km. The increased fare in UP will be implemented from Tuesday. It will have an impact in Uttarakhand as well. Because UP rates will be applicable in Uttarakhand Roadways buses plying in the UP border. Apart from UP, buses also ply for Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana from major bus stations of Uttarakhand.

Buses on these routes pass through UP. Talking about Doon, the journey to various routes of Kumaon including Haldwani, Delhi, Saharanpur, Roorkee will become expensive. 50 buses of Uttarakhand ply on routes connected to UP.

Till now the bus fare in the UP border was at the rate of Rs 1.05, which will now be Rs 1.30. Uttarakhand buses will start charging increased fare from Wednesday.
