The girl of Shahjahanpur, who is considered to be an important link in the episode, suddenly came to the fore. He filed a molestation case against businessman Asim Hussain who accused him of assault. After this, the GRP arrested the businessman and produced him in the Railway Magistrate Court. From where he was sent to jail in judicial custody for fourteen days. Before the action, the statements of the victim under section 164 were also recorded in the court of the judicial magistrate.
This incident, which took place in the general coach of Padmavat last Thursday, was in headlines from social media to political circles. Korabari Asim alleged that some people in Padmavat Express beat him up for not chanting Jai Shri Ram. Pulled his beard and looted 22 hundred rupees. A video of this matter also went viral in which some people are beating Asim with a belt.
As soon as the video went viral, the police also arrested two people with the help of CCTV footage. After initial investigation, the police had told the case to be related to molestation. However, the businessman said that if the police theory is correct, then he should bring the victim to the fore. On the other hand, on Tuesday, the matter was completely reversed due to the sudden appearance of the girl.
A 20-year-old girl resident of Shahjahanpur lodged a complaint against the businessman in Moradabad GRP. According to her, on January 12, she climbed from Ghaziabad with her brother. Due to crowd in the general compartment, her brother stayed at the gate while she went to the compartment. Sitting on a seat, Mulla ji first called her daughter and made her sit beside him. But after some time he started doing obscene acts. When she started crying out of fear, the two boys present in the bogie objected to this and thrashed her.
The incident took place between Hapur to Moradabad. Frightened by all this, she moved to another compartment at the next station.
On the other hand, on Tuesday, on the report of the girl, Moradabad resident businessman Asim Hussain was arrested by the police. GRP Inspector Sudhir Kumar produced the victim in the court late in the evening where her statement was recorded under section 164. He was sent to jail in judicial custody for fourteen days.
