Hurt by molestation in Amroha, BA student tried to commit suicide. The family members have admitted him to the hospital in Meerut. where his condition is critical. The incident is of February 2. Police have registered a case on Sunday night on the complaint of the student’s father.
A resident of a village in the area, a BA student studies in a degree college located in Hapur district. On the afternoon of February 2, she was returning home from college. It is alleged that seeing her alone on the way, two youths of the village forcefully made her sit on their bike and started taking her with them and molested her. When the student made noise in protest, people ran to save her. Seeing the people coming towards them, the accused fled leaving the girl student behind.
The student reached home and informed the family members about the incident. It is said that hurt by the incident, the student tried to commit suicide. The family members have admitted him to the hospital in Meerut in a critical condition. Inspector-in-charge Arihant Siddharth told that in this case, the matter is being investigated by registering a case of molestation against Mohit and Deepak of the village itself.
