West Indies opener Tagenarayan Chanderpaul has scored a century in the first innings of the ongoing first Test against Zimbabwe. Following in the footsteps of his father, he completed the first century of his Test career. During this, he also shared an unbeaten century partnership of 221 runs with fellow batsman Craig Brathwaite for the first wicket. After scoring the first century of his career, the pair of Tagenran and Shivnarine have made their place in a special list of father-son duo. For the West Indies, this became the first father-son duo to score centuries in Test cricket. At the same time, this has become the 12th pair of the world to do such a feat.
