Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand of Jyotishpeeth formed the Dharma Censor Board amidst the storm and protests of Hinduist organizations on Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan. Its guide line was also released on Thursday. Shankaracharya, while talking to reporters at the Magh Mela camp in Prayagraj, said that this board will not be against the Censor Board, but will complement it. Just as something is filtered through a sieve and filtered a second time with a thin sieve, in the same way the new board will also work so that obscenity is stopped completely.
People from different regions have been kept in this religious censor board. Suresh Manchanda will be the chief in this, Suresh is from the media sector. There, Supreme Court advocate Dr. PN Mishra, Swami Chakrapani from Sanatan Dharma, actress Mansi Pandey, Vice President of Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council Tarun Rathi, social subjects expert Captain Arvind Singh Bhadoria, Sanskrit expert Preeti Shukla, Sanatan Dharma expert Dr. Gargi Pandit, former Director ASI Dr. Dharamveer will be a member of this board.

Shankaracharya told that the purpose of setting up this censor is that such scenes should not be allowed in any movie or movie which doubt or disrespect Sanatan Dharma and Indian culture. The visuals should be responsive and sensitive to the values and standards of religion, culture and society. Don’t make fun of religion or culture.

Shankaracharya told that the members of this board will reprimand the producers about such scenes, then protest and if needed then go to the court, but such scenes will not be allowed to be telecast now.
