Schools Winter Holiday 2023: All schools in Delhi, Noida and Uttar Pradesh will open from Monday amid cold wave. Although the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of some more cold outbreak, in such a situation, a new order can also be issued by the administration for the winter vacation in the areas of Delhi Government and NCR. If the new order does not come, then all the schools will open regularly from Monday, 16 January 2023. Meanwhile, the Gorakhpur district administration has extended the holidays of 12th K schools till January 17.

Let us inform you that Noida district administration had ordered closure of all schools till January 14, 2023 in view of winter. And the Delhi government had already announced winter vacation from January 1 to January 15. Meanwhile, in view of the outbreak of winter, the Haryana government has extended the winter vacation from January 15 to January 21, 2023. Apart from this, the school holidays in the Union Territory of Chandigarh have also been extended till January 21, 2023. In such a situation, there is a possibility that the winter vacation can be extended in the schools of Delhi NCR as well.

Holidays likely to increase in Rajasthan as well:

In view of the cold wave in Rajasthan, the school holidays are likely to increase. The Meteorological Department has expressed a strong possibility of cold wave or intense cold wave in most areas of Bikaner, Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur and Bharatpur divisions during January 15 to 17. Yellow and orange alert has been issued in 16 cities of Rajasthan. There will be severe cold throughout the week. The temperature is estimated to be three to four degrees. Let us tell you that the winter vacations of all schools up to 8th in Rajasthan were extended till January 15 and schools are to open from January 16.

Chances of another cold wave coming:

According to reports, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has told that another cold wave may be seen in North India. However, the peak of cold wave i.e. the minimum temperature will be the lowest on January 15-16. According to the Meteorological Department, dense to very dense fog can be seen in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi for the coming few days. At the same time, dense fog can be seen in some areas of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, fog and cold will be seen in many areas of Uttarakhand, North Madhya Pradesh and Bihar.
