Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant was badly injured in a road accident last month. His car overturned after hitting the divider while going from Delhi to Roorkee. The car later caught fire. Pant’s life was saved in the accident. He suffered injuries on head, hand, waist and leg. Pant shared his health update on social media for the first time on Monday. Pant told that his surgery was successful. He also thanked his fans and well wishers. Not only this, Pant also remembered the two heroes who saved his life after the accident.

Pant shared the picture of the two boys he saved on his official Twitter account and revealed their names. Both the boys have also gone to the hospital to inquire about Pant’s health. Pant wrote, ‘I cannot thank everyone personally. But I cannot forget these two heroes who helped me during the accident. Both made sure that I could reach the hospital safely. Thank you very much Rajat Kumar and Nishu Kumar. I will always be grateful and indebted.

Pant is currently undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Pant was given first aid at the hospital in Narsan and then shifted to Max Hospital in Dehradun. After staying in Dehradun for several days, Pant was airlifted to Mumbai. Significantly, it may take a long time for Pant to return to the field. Apart from his Australia series, there is a possibility of being completely out of IPL 2023 and ODI World Cup starting in October.
