Rishabh Pant Shares Message For Fans: India’s star wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has shared the post on social media for the first time after the car accident. He had become a victim of an accident last month.

Team India’s wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant was injured in a horrific car accident on December 30 while traveling from Dilti to Roorkee. His car overturned after hitting the divider, which later caught fire. His life was saved narrowly. Pant was injured in many places including his head, knee. He was initially treated in Dehradun and is now admitted in a hospital in Mumbai. Pant has shared the first post on social media since the accident, in which he has given an important update regarding the surgery. Also thanked the fans for praying and supporting in bad times.

He wrote on his official Twitter account on Monday, ‘I am grateful to everyone for the support and wishes. I am very happy to inform you that my surgery was successful. I am on the road to recovery and I am ready for the challenges ahead. Thanks to the BCCI, Secretary Jay Shah and the government for their support.

Pant wrote in another tweet, ‘I want to thank all my fans, teammates, doctors and physios from the bottom of my heart, who supported and encouraged me. Eagerly waiting to meet all of you on the field. Fans are fiercely looting on Pant’s tweet. Within a few hours, close to one lakh likes have come on the post.

Please tell that 25-year-old Pant has undergone ligament reconstruction surgery. It may take several months for him to return to the field. Pant is likely to be ruled out of the Australia series, IPL 2023 as well as the ODI World Cup starting in October. In many reports, it has even been claimed that it may take at least 18 months for Pant to be fully fit.
