Deshdeepak Verma was addressing the youth dialogue organized on Monday afternoon regarding Global Investors Summit-2023 at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, Arogyadham. He said that earlier the image of UP among investors and entrepreneurs was that of a crime-ridden state. Law & Order was a big challenge. Organized crime was a hindrance to industrial development. After becoming the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath set the first target of crime control. Its result is in front of everyone. Today, crime control alone has more than fifty percent contribution in the achievements of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from being crime-free, Uttar Pradesh has also become an investment state.
Not only MoU, investments are coming on the ground
Deshdeepak Verma said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also broken the misconception that there are only MoUs in UP. With signing the MoU, the state government is putting investments worth lakhs of crores on the ground. He told that from the last Investors Summit, work was done on investment of Rs. 4 lakh crore, and due to this, employment was also created for 15 lakh people. Under the leadership of CM Yogi, according to the need and potential of the state, different sectors of investment were identified, accordingly the policy was brought. As a result, the doors of large-scale investment have opened in the state in sectors like IT, data center, defence, aerospace, electric vehicle, tourism, mobile manufacturing.

Investment will increase employment
Retired IAS officer Mr. Verma said that UP is today at the point of progress from where it has to move forward continuously. If investment is increasing, employment will also increase. Referring to CM Yogi’s statement, now is the time of Uttar Pradesh, he said that the time has come for Eastern UP to move forward with UP.

Enthusing the students of Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, Deshdeepak Verma said that they should focus on their skill development by identifying the rising sector. Quoting Khudi ko kar buland ki khuda bande se khud poreche, bata teri raza kya hai, he said that when you have skills in specific areas, you will not have to run after jobs, rather employers will run after you. Shri Verma said that in the new environment of investment, there is a great demand for people in the technical, nursing and paramedical fields. Unprecedented enthusiasm in India and abroad for GIS: Pawan Agarwal
Keeping his point on the purpose of youth dialogue regarding GIS, Chief Executive Officer of Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) Pawan Agarwal said that for the first time, under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a campaign of participation of students-youth in every district in an Investors Summit is being run.
