The victim of the Unnao rape case has opposed the 15-day parole granted to the accused and former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who is serving a life sentence. The victim, along with the video, in her letter released on social media, has opposed the 15-day parole given to Sengar for her daughter’s marriage. He has said that as long as Sengar remains outside, he will remain a threat to the victim and her family as well as to the witnesses.
Significantly, the Delhi High Court has ordered the release of former MLA Kuldeep Sengar, who is serving life imprisonment in a rape case, on parole from January 27 to February 10 to attend his daughter’s wedding. In the past, the victim has also told the non-grant of interim bail to her uncle in the marriage of her sister, the result of the conspiracy of the family of former MLA Sengar.
