Buoyed by the bumper victory in the Mainpuri Lok Sabha by-election, the Samajwadi Party (SP) may soon undergo organizational expansion. On the instructions of Akhilesh Yadav, the party has fully engaged in the preparations for the municipal and Lok Sabha elections. It is being told that confidential reports are being taken from the districts for this. It is being said that the SP will soon announce the names of new office bearers from the state to the national level.
Most of the discussion in this is about Shivpal Singh Yadav and his son Aditya, who recently merged his Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party with SP. It is believed that Akhilesh Yadav can give a big responsibility to both the leaders.
SP is working on new formula
SP sources say that many non-Yadav OBC leaders may get a bigger responsibility in the party. There is a strategy to connect scheduled caste voters with the party. For this the stature of many leaders can be increased. The SP wants to answer the allegations of familyism leveled by the leaders of BJP and other parties with this formula.
Akhilesh surrounded the government on law and order
Meanwhile, on Sunday, National President Akhilesh Yadav tried to corner the state government regarding law and order. He said that the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh is getting worse and worse. The state government of BJP is proving to be a failure in the security of the people. The effective arrangements made for crime control in the Samajwadi government have been ruined by the BJP government. The fear of the police has ended among the criminals, now they are also getting stained.
