In Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri, villagers attacked the outpost in-charge who had gone to settle the land dispute. The mob beat the Chowki Incharge and the soldiers accompanying him as hostages and snatched the government revolver of the sub-inspector. The incident created a stir in the entire police department. On information, Kotwal Gola, CO and ASP reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The revolver could not be recovered till late night. The police officers have kept silence in this matter.
This incident is of Chairasi village of Gola Kotwali. There is a dispute going on between two groups over a piece of land. Sugarcane is planted on this disputed land. It is alleged that one side was cutting sugarcane. The other side complained to the police. On this complaint, Muda Savarn incharge Arun Kumar Singh reached the spot on Friday. He was trying to settle the dispute of the case, when the matter got spoiled there. It is said that the mob attacked the outpost in-charge and the two soldiers accompanying him. The mob thrashed the outpost in-charge.

Kotwal DP Shukla CO Rajesh Yadav along with the force reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The revolver of the outpost in-charge had not been recovered till the news was written. The police is also refraining from saying anything in this matter. The officials also stopped picking up the calls. The CUG of the SP was picked up by the PRV.
