Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the Basti MP Khel Mahakumbh on Wednesday. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be present in this inauguration ceremony to be held at Shaheed Satyawan Singh Stadium. The stadium is attractively decorated. 53 thousand players participating in 30 sports events will be present on the inaugural occasion.
This Khel Mahakumbh will continue till January 28. The stadium has been attractively decorated for the Khel Mahakumbh. Eight LEDs have been installed on the ground, through which the live telecast of the Prime Minister’s program can be seen closely on the entire ground. Along with colouring, 20 thousand balloons are being installed on the entire ground. The stadium has been barricaded from all sides. Winners of block level games will be present on the stadium ground, whose number is around 53 thousand. Along with this, there will be participation of dignitaries associated with the event. Separate entrances have been made. Mats have been spread on the stadium ground, so there is also an arrangement of chairs to sit on the side.
Regarding the preparations, MP Harish Dwivedi reviewed each and every point by meeting with all the chiefs involved in the arrangements at the stadium ground on Tuesday. Apart from this, Commissioner, IG, DM and SP took stock of the arrangements.
PM will watch Kho-Kho match for seven minutes
Along with the inauguration of the Games, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will watch the girls play Kho-Kho for seven minutes. This match will be between the teams of Basti Sadar and Harraiya block. There will also be a live telecast of the match at the opening ceremony.
