Many heads of state are coming to the G-20 conference. The officials will take these foreign dignitaries for a tour of Lucknow. First class officer-magistrates will also have to read the history of Lucknow so that they can also play the role of guide. District Magistrate Surya Pal Gangwar has given instructions in this regard in the meeting held at Collectorate Auditorium on Saturday.

150 distinguished guests are coming to the G-20 conference. Some of them will be the President and some will be the Prime Minister. The DM said that the Presidents and Prime Ministers of many countries are coming to the conference. In such a situation, the officers whose duty has been imposed will be divided into different groups. A language specialist will also be included with them. Officers will be taught ‘soft spoken training’ i.e. Lucknow’s manners and sophistication.

The DM told that special training has to be given to all the officers. Take it seriously. The District Magistrate directed all the officers to read and remember the history of Residency, Imambara and Raj Bhavan. Apart from this, asked to keep information about the famous dishes and products of Lucknow. DM said also remember which items are available here. Memorize their list and keep it with you so that if the guest has any questions, they can be answered immediately. The DM said that keep complete information about the heritage of the districts surrounding Lucknow. Along with the liaisoning officer being deployed from the administration level, a police officer will be in the role of PSO with the guests. Both the officers will be trained together.

Officers will keep complete information about the hotel, venue

The officers deputed for the guests have been asked to keep the venue of the event, all the floors of the hotel where the guest is staying, the exhibition hall etc. in advance.

Also, all the officers will rehearse before the program. During this a tour of the whole city will be done.

Apart from this, these officers are strictly instructed to remain in formal dress. Means will wear coat, white shirt, black pant and black shoes. They will also be taught protocols in special training.
