Number of flights will increase at Agra Airport, Supreme Court approves

On Tuesday, a three-tier bench of the Supreme Court has approved the petition to increase the number of flights from Kheria Airport in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. This has increased the chances of the tourism industry getting wings. The Airport Authority of India had filed a petition in the Supreme Court to increase the number of flights.

This order was given by Supreme Court Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Abhay Shankar Oak and JP Pardiwala. The construction of Civil Enclave was also stalled due to non-increase in the number of flights from Kheria Airport. On Tuesday, there was a wave of happiness in the tourism world after the country’s top court gave permission to increase the number of flights during the hearing. This will also expedite the commencement of construction of Civil Enclave. So far only five flights have operated. After the new order, the number of flights from Agra to other cities will also increase.
