No entry of private vehicles from neighboring states including UP-Delhi in Uttarakhand, this plan made on Chardham Yatra including Kedarnath-Badrinath

Char Dham Yatra: The transport department’s mobile app will be launched in the first week of April for making green cards and trip cards during Char Dham Yatra including Kedarnath, Badrinath. With the help of NIC, the Transport Department is preparing a special app this time. Along with the vehicles of government and private operators, it will be mandatory for passengers coming from private vehicles to take trip card this year. Without this, there will be no entry of private vehicles on the Chardham Yatra route.

Additional Transport Commissioner Sanat Kumar Singh said that the trip card is also important for the safety of the passengers during the Chardham Yatra. Due to this, the details of the vehicles going on each route, the number of passengers traveling in it and the details will also be available with the department. In case of any kind of problem, the department will also be able to provide assistance to the passengers as soon as possible.

Along with this, it will also help in crowd management. It may be known that in the year 2019, 32 lakh pilgrims came to Char Dham. In the year 2022, this number has increased to more than 45 lakhs. But trip cards were not made in this number.
