The incidents of harassment of women, children and others are increasing due to misuse of technology. Mischievous elements upload their pictures and videos on social media without their knowledge. Strict cyber law is needed to curb this. Justice Shamim Ahmed of the Lucknow Bench of the High Court said these things on Saturday in a two-day seminar on Law and Technology organized by the Seminar Committee at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Law University. He told that wrong messages are being given to children from all the websites on the internet. Apart from this, it was told about the theft of intellectual property that people are stealing the work of any person or organization and publishing it on the internet in their own name and looting accolades.
