Mafia Mukhtar Ansari has not only collected Rs 15 crore as rent from FCI by building a godown on government land, but has also caused a loss of crores to NABARD by taking a loan on subsidy. This has been disclosed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in its charge sheet. The ED team probing the money laundering case registered against Mukhtar Ansari is collecting evidence related to the allegations. ED has also wanted Mukhtar’s wife.
The ED has so far filed a charge sheet only against Mukhtar Ansari’s company Vikas Construction, son MLA Abbas Ansari and brother-in-law Atif Raza. Investigation is going on against Mukhtar and his wife Afshan Ansari. In the investigation that has been completed so far, apart from earning Rs 15 crore illegally, there have been many allegations.
There is also an allegation against Mukhtar Ansari that he had taken a loan of Rs 67 lakh in the first time, Rs 67 lakh in the second time and Rs 90 lakh in the third time from NABARD in the name of building a godown for the farmers. In this way, crores of rupees were grabbed by taking loans. It has also become clear that others including Ravindra Narayan and Masood Khan had formed Vikas Constructions together, but all the members walked away as soon as Mukhtar entered this company. Mukhtar’s brother-in-law also usurped his crores of deposits.
