Mayank Agarwal, running out of the Indian team, hit a double century in domestic cricket, played the last match against Sri Lanka
Mayank Agarwal hit a double century for Karnataka against Kerala. Mayank has been running out of Team India’s Test team for almost 9 months. He last played against Sri Lanka in March 2022.
India’s out-of-favour Mayank Agarwal scored an unbeaten double century as Karnataka took a crucial first innings lead in their Ranji Trophy Group C match against Kerala on Thursday. Karnataka, leading 137 for two in the morning, scored 410 for six at the end of the third day’s play with the help of skipper Agarwal’s 208 off 360 balls. Kerala scored 342 runs in their first innings.
Agarwal hit 17 fours and five sixes in his innings. He shared a crucial 151-run partnership with SJ Nikin Jose (54). Apart from these two, Shreyas Gopal contributed 48 runs. Agarwal and Gopal added 93 runs for the fifth wicket. Wicket-keeper batsman BR Sharath was playing on 47 and Shubhang Hegde was on eight at the time of stumps.
On the other hand, in Puducherry, Jharkhand has strengthened its position against the hosts. In reply to Puducherry’s 231, Jharkhand scored 412 in their first innings. Virat Singh contributed 124 and Saurabh Tiwari contributed 116 runs from his side. Sagar Udeshi took eight wickets for 118 runs for Puducherry.
Puducherry were 89 for five in their second innings at the end of the third day’s play. In another Group C match being played in Delhi, Goa declared their first innings at 483 for nine in reply to Army’s 175. At the end of the third day’s play, the Army were 139 for two in their second innings. From his side, Ravi Chauhan scored 68 not out and SG Rohilla scored 52 runs.

Chasing a target of 430 against Rajasthan in Jodhpur, Chhattisgarh are 111 for four at the end of the third day’s play and are still 319 runs short of the target.
Rajasthan had scored 360 runs in their first innings and bowled out Chhattisgarh for 199 runs. Rajasthan had declared their second innings ended after scoring 268 runs for three wickets. Mahipal Lomror played a century innings of 123 runs from his side.
