Two days back, the daughter whose baby was showered was strangled to death by her father and family members. The bodies were pressed into the cordon near the house and fled. Behind the incident, the matter of love affair with the youth of the neighboring village has come to the fore. The police have registered a case of murder against the father and his family on the complaint of the watchman of the village and started searching.
In the house of Ashok Yadav, a resident of Maujepur of Bhogaon police station area, the noise of fighting continued in the night. Suddenly in the morning the family members locked the house and ran away. Ashoka’s daughter Jyoti was not among them. On the basis of suspicion, a villager informed the police about any untoward incident. On this, SP Vinod Kumar, CO Bhogaon Vijay Pal Singh, Bhogaon police station in-charge BS Bhati reached the spot along with the police force. On being tipped off, the police reached the cordon near the house and dug a four feet deep pit and took out Jyoti’s body. During this, hundreds of people gathered on the spot.
After getting information about the incident, police watchman Manoj’s son Lalman Katheria, a resident of Badi Havilia, filed a case of murder against the father and his family members. According to this, the daughter of Maujepur resident Ashok had a love affair with a youth resident of neighboring village Nagla Harisingh. The family members were against it.
On Thursday night, Ashok Yadav and his family members strangled the dead body of the daughter by digging a pit inside the house. The entire family fled after the incident. The police have registered a case of murder against the accused father and his family on the complaint of the watchman.
The baby shower was held on January 18 itself.

Because of this Jyoti’s marriage was fixed with Aliganj, Etah. On January 18, the ceremony of Jyoti’s baby shower was also done. When she refused to marry even after the ceremony, the father strangled her.
According to SP Vinod Kumar, the murderer’s father and his family members are absconding. On the complaint of the watchman, the police have registered a case of murder. The accused will be arrested soon.
