Former West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard is going to be seen in a new role in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. Pollard, who has been associated with the Mumbai Indians team for a long time due to his long sixes and all-rounder performances, took part in his first pre-season practice session as Mumbai Indians coach. Pollard has always been a leader and players always look up to him for learning and advice. However, he will now work as a full-time coach for IPL franchise Mumbai Indians, giving the young players more exposure to the veteran’s experience.
After the end of the first session on Tuesday, Kieron Pollard said, “Words cannot describe what it means to play and represent Mumbai Indians. He has done a lot for me personally and I think I have done a lot for him as a player. The relationship we share is more than a cricket match and such things never change for me. My personality and character around people will be the same.
