India is to host the ICC World Cup 2023.

Pakistan’s sports journalist Farid Khan, quoting Javed Miandad from his official Twitter handle, wrote, ‘Why is India afraid to play Pakistan? They know that if India loses to Pakistan, Narendra Modi will disappear, his people will not leave him. Javed Miandad did not stop at this and further said, ‘India ran away from Sharjah when we started winning there. He didn’t even want to play. The people there used to set fire to the houses of their players when they lost to us. His players including his Gavaskar had to bear the heavy loss of defeat.

Javed Miandad said, ‘India has an old habit of running away from Pakistan. This is nothing new. I know him since my playing days.
