Some members of the Indian cricket team, who arrived in Thiruvananthapuram to play the third ODI against Sri Lanka, offered prayers at the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple here on Saturday. Sources said some cricketers and other BCCI officials reached the temple at 10 am. These included Yuzvendra Chahal, Suryakumar Yadav, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Akshar Patel, Shreyas Iyer and bowling coach Paras Mhambrey. Pictures of the cricketers along with BCCI officials and temple officials were shared on social media.

Team India in Thiruvananthapuram will land with the intention of cleaning the guests in the series today. India has made an unassailable 2-0 lead by winning the first two matches of the series. The first match of the series was played in Guwahati and the second match was played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
