The third and final match of the three-match ODI series between India and Sri Lanka will be played in Thiruvananthapuram today. India will aim to make a clean sweep against Sri Lanka by winning this match. The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma started the new year with a win. The team won the first match in Guwahati by 67 runs and then won the series by four wickets in a low scoring match at Eden Gardens. In the match to be held in Kerala, the team can go down with a change in the playing eleven. Although the weather on the day of the match is going to be much better in terms of cricket.

According to AccuWeather, Thiruvananthapuram is expected to witness up to 55 per cent humidity and around 31 per cent cloud cover. The temperature is expected to be in the 30’s during the match which starts at 1:30 PM. There will be drop in temperature at night. However, the players will get relief from the cold at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Because the minimum temperature here is expected to be around 22 degree Celsius.

India took an unassailable lead in the series after a comfortable win in Guwahati followed by a top-order collapse in Kolkata. Now the players would like to continue the same performance in the last match of the tour.
