Emirates ICC Elite Panel match referee Javagal Srinath said that India bowled three overs slow from time. The time allowance was taken into account before arriving at the decision.

In accordance with Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, players are fined 20 percent of their match fees for each over they fail to bowl in the allotted time.
