Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has narrated his experience during his knee surgery and subsequent recovery in a video shared by the BCCI. Jadeja will return after about 6 months.
Indian team’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is about to return to international cricket after about 6 months. Jadeja, who was out of action for nearly five months following a knee operation, recently made a comeback to competitive cricket in a Ranji Trophy match against Tamil Nadu. He took seven wickets in that match. At present, Jadeja is practicing fiercely on the nets with the Indian team for the first Test match against Australia starting on February 9. BCCI has shared a video on social media, in which Jadeja has said a lot about his recovery and comeback.
In the video shared by BCCI, Jadeja has told that even if he had got his surgery done later, his chances of playing in T20 World Cup 2022 were less. Jadeja was ruled out of the Asia Cup 2022 due to a knee injury and later underwent a successful surgery.

Ravindra Jadeja said, “I was eagerly waiting to come back and play for India. I was suffering from knee problem and also needed surgery. I had to decide whether to go for surgery before or after the World Cup. The doctors had advised me to do it before the World Cup as there was little chance of playing in the World Cup. So I decided that I should do this.
