Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, engaged in the exercise of making Uttar Pradesh the growth engine of New India, on Tuesday invited entrepreneurs to invest in Kolkata. Industrialists and investors from Bengal participated in the program organized by the Uttar Pradesh government at Hotel Oberoi Grand. The Chief Minister described Uttar Pradesh as a state with immense possibilities from the point of view of investment and said that those who want to see a changed UP, must go there.
Official sources claimed that the invited entrepreneurs showed interest in connecting cities of UP through transport services, investing in higher education and investing in waste to energy, hospitals, tourism etc. Abhijit Roy, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Berger Paints said that Uttar Pradesh has become much better than before in terms of market, infrastructure, land, tax and ease of doing.
Praising the rules and discipline of Uttar Pradesh, he said that because of this all the works are successfully carried out there. If we talk about the rate of interest, attractive schemes of profit are also prepared in this. The desire of business with adequate solutions to all these things motivates every businessman.
Ramakant Barman, Managing Director of Green Tech Environment Management Pvt Ltd, said that Uttar Pradesh wants to set up four to five waste to energy plants. It has great potential in cities like Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur etc. Already working in Kashi. Yogi government gave us security, so we want to invest here.
