In view of the Global Investors Summit, the Yogi Government of UP has canceled the leave of officers of this level including Group A and B i.e. IAS, IPS, PCS, PPS till 12 February. Instructions have been sent to all the departmental heads in this regard on behalf of Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra. Earlier on Monday, instructions were issued to cancel the holidays of the policemen.
The Global Investors Summit has been organized in the capital Lucknow from 10 to 12 February. In this, many big personalities including the Prime Minister, the President as well as the industrialists of the country and the world will be involved. Therefore, this decision has been taken in view of their preparations and security arrangements. Those suffering from incurable diseases have been exempted from today’s instructions.
In the order issued on Monday, police personnel posted in Lucknow were called back from their holidays. The leaves of all police personnel were cancelled. It has been said in the order that in view of the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023, the leaves of all the policemen posted in the Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order Office in Lucknow have been cancelled. However, except for any policemen who are taking leave for their marriage or brother-sister’s marriage, all leaves have been cancelled.
Policemen will be given leave only for their marriage or marriage of brother and sister. Other policemen have been asked to return to duty with immediate effect. Policemen have been deployed in security for the Global Investors Summit in Lucknow.
For this, police personnel are being called from many other districts as well. Till next February 20, the holidays of the policemen of Lucknow have been cancelled. It is being said that 10,000 police personnel will be deployed for the summit in entire Lucknow.
Lucknow’s Joint Commissioner of Police Piyush Mordia has issued an order for the policemen. Along with this, it is being told that the UP Police has a complete plan for security in the G-20 summit. STF and ATS will also be kept on high alert. Apart from the airport, security will be on high alert at the venue and the residence of all the guests.
