In Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut, a married woman was given triple talaq by her husband. The husband took her out of the house and fled after locking her. The victim alleges that her husband was having an affair with a woman, due to which she divorced him. The victim narrated her ordeal to the police in the police station and pleaded for justice by giving Tahrir.
It belongs to Gesupur Bafavat village of Daurala area. Saeeda told that she was married 13 years back in Pohalli village. It is alleged that her husband was having an affair with a woman before marriage. Which continued even after marriage. On protesting, the husband stopped talking to the woman for a few days but now started talking to her again. There was a dispute with the husband regarding this matter. When the victim told this to her in-laws, they too did not listen and supported her husband.
It is alleged that on Sunday she once again had a fight with her husband over the same issue. After which the husband gave triple talaq after beating her. Later, he took his wife out of the house and fled after locking her. The victim reached the police station on Monday and demanded action against the husband by giving a tahrir to the police.
