Harmanpreet Kaur’s entry in top-10 in T20 rankings, Sneh also benefits

India’s Sneh Rana has achieved a career-best ranking in the ICC Women’s T20 rankings, while Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur has also gained in the rankings and has returned to the top-10.

India’s Sneh Rana has reached a career-best ranking in the ICC Women’s T20 Bowlers Ranking. Rana has reached the sixth position for the first time, while Deepti Sharma has suffered a loss of one place and has slipped to the third position. Off-spinner Rana took two wickets for 21 runs in the tri-series final against South Africa.

Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur has moved up one place to be at 10th position in the batsmen’s rankings. On the other hand, Deepti Sharma has moved up two places to 23rd position and Harleen Deol has moved up 20 places to 110th position.

South African all-rounder Chole Trion remains at the top. Australia’s batsman Tahlia McGrath can become the player with the highest rating points during the Women’s T20 World Cup starting on 10 February. She is 40 points short of breaking Charlotte Edwards’ record of 843 points.
