From today till 30, many trains will run with changed routes, 4 cancelled, see list

Due to non-interlock work, electronic interlocking, yard remodeling work being done on the Sanehwal-Ambala-Saharanpur railway section of Ferozepur division of Northern Railway from January 16 to 30, trains will be canceled and route changed. This information was given by Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway.

These trains will be run on the changed route-

The Jaynagar-Amritsar Saryu-Yamuna Express scheduled to run from Jaynagar on January 17 and 24 will run via the diverted route Ambala-Chandigarh-Sanehwal-Ludhiana. This train will not stop at Rajpura, Sirhind, Govindgarh and Khanna stations. In return, the Jaynagar-Amritsar Saryu-Yamuna Express leaving Jaynagar on January 22 will run via the diverted route Ambala-Rajpura-Dhuri Jn.-Ludhiana. This train will not stop at Sirhind, Govindgarh and Khanna stations. New Jalpaiguri-Amritsar Express scheduled to leave New Jalpaiguri on January 18 will run via Ambala-Chandigarh-Sanehwal-Ludhiana diverted route and Amritsar-Katihar Express scheduled to leave Amritsar on January 24 via diverted route Ludhiana-Dhuri Jn-Rajpura. This train will not stop at Khanna and Sirhind stations.

Four trains will remain canceled-

Jaynagar-Amritsar special running from Jaynagar on January 17, 20, 22 and 24, Amritsar-Jaynagar special running from Amritsar on January 18, 20, 22 and 25, New Jalpaiguri-Amritsar special running from New Jalpaiguri on January 20 and The Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri special running from Amritsar on January 18 will remain cancelled.
