Four lane flyover will be built at Lucknow PGI intersection, will get rid of jam

Traveling from Lucknow to Rae Bareli will soon be easy. A four-lane flyover will be built near the PGI intersection. NHAI has got the survey done by a private executive body. The survey report will soon be sent to the central government. One lakh population will get relief from traffic jam with the proposed flyover.

Serious patients from many districts including Sitapur, Lakhimpur, Sultanpur come to Lucknow’s PGI Hospital daily for better treatment, but due to traffic jams, patients and attendants face a lot of problems. In peak hours, there is a kilometer long jam. Apart from this, the large population of Vrindavan Colony of Housing Development Council has to face jam.

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s MP representative Diwakar Tripathi told that in October 2021, Vaibhav Dange, private secretary to Union Road Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, had instructed the then project director of NHAI NN Giri to prepare an action plan. Due to the construction of flyover, a large population will get relief from traffic jam.

NHAI CM Dwivedi informed that survey has been done for construction of flyover at PGI intersection on Rae Bareilly road. The survey report will be sent to the central government. DPR will be prepared after getting in-principle approval.
