Former selector dropped Cheteshwar Pujara out of the team, former cricketer put class
Former Team India selector Sunil Joshi dropped Cheteshwar Pujara from the team for the first Test and replaced him with Suryakumar Yadav. In such a situation, former cricketer Doda Ganesh has become angry.
Former India cricketer Doda Ganesh has rejected Sunil Joshi’s suggestion to drop Cheteshwar Pujara for Suryakumar Yadav in the first Test match between India and Australia to be played in Nagpur. The former India selector took to Twitter to give his suggestions for the playing XI ahead of the match starting on February 9. Joshi wrote that instead of Cheteshwar Pujara, Suryakumar Yadav should be given a chance for the first Test match and he should be seen.
Sunil Joshi tweeted, “Will India go with this playing XI in the 1st Test? Discussion between Pujara and Surya, strong rivalry between both left arm spinners Kuldeep and Akshar.” He further wrote the names of players selected in the playing XI, including Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav (must watch first), Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, KS Bharat, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj name is included.
Doda Ganesh was upset with Sunil Joshi, who was a member of the committee of selectors of the Indian team. He tweeted, “One of the former selectors wants Suryakumar Yadav to be picked ahead of Pujara for Tests. I mean, audacity to think that one can replace Pujara with someone who is yet to make his first Test.” To play boggles my mind. No wonder Pujara has been made a scapegoat all his life.”
Let us tell you that Sunil Joshi was recently sacked from the selection panel after the poor performance of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup. The chairman of the selection committee, Chetan Sharma, was reappointed to the job, but with a different panel under him. Many users were left wondering how could they see the line-up without Cheteshwar Pujara, a sports expert and a former cricketer and member of the selection committee.
