A woman resident of a colony of Izzatnagar police station area in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh has accused her husband’s friend of raping her. The police have started investigating the matter by registering a case on the orders of the court. The accused Pradeep Kumar Agarwal is a resident of Chandausi.
The woman says, on May 9, 2022, she had a love-marriage with a young man from Chandausi. Husband’s friend Praveen Kumar Agarwal also came to the marriage and offered his hand in marriage. It is alleged that Praveen Kumar Agarwal cooperated fully. He kept it in his house which is his private flat. Husband was not home, then Praveen Kumar fed her intoxicant pills. physically abused her. Threatened to kill someone for telling something.
Due to social infamy, even the husband was not told anything. Praveen started blackmailing her. Then under compulsion she told her husband, only then the husband took her to Bareilly. Came here and started living. Allegations, on 20 November 2022 Praveen Kumar Agarwal Bareilly came to him. Stopped on his way and tried to kidnap. Inspector Izzatnagar Arun Kumar Srivastava says, a report has been filed in the matter on the orders of the court. Investigation is being done.
