‘Don’t spoil our memorable day’; Shaheen Afridi furious over the wedding video being leaked, put class on social media
Shaheen Afridi’s wedding ceremony was attended by many former and present cricketers. However, during the wedding, Shahin looked angry after the videos and pictures were leaked on social media.
Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi tied the knot with the daughter of former cricketer Shahid Afridi on Friday. Several former and current cricketers turned up at the grand ceremony in Karachi to wish their teammates at the event. Pakistan’s current captain Babar Azam was also present at the ceremony, while a video of Babar and Shaheen also went viral on social media, in which the captain was congratulating a fellow player. The event ended well, but Shaheen Afridi was quite upset about one thing and has vented his anger on social media.
Despite Shaheen requesting several times not to share the photos on social media, pictures and videos of their wedding were leaked on the internet. He looked quite disappointed by this and took to Twitter to reprimand those who didn’t listen to him.
Shaheen tweeted, “It is very disappointing that after so many requests, our privacy has been violated and people continue to share it without any guilt. I would like to humbly request once again that please bear with us and don’t try to spoil our memorable big day.”

After daughter’s marriage, Shahid has shared an emotional post on social media, in which he has mentioned the importance of daughter Ansha. Shahid wrote in the caption, “Daughter is the most beautiful flower in your garden because she blooms with great blessings.” A daughter is someone you laugh with, dream with and love with all your heart. As a parent, I gave my daughter in marriage to Shaheen Afridi. Congratulations to both.
Shaheen has been constantly troubled by injury. He could not even play Asia Cup 2022. He fell on his knees while taking a catch in the T20 World Cup final. Thereafter, Shaheen failed to make a comeback in the England Test series, New Zealand Test and ODI series. However, Shaheen’s injury is on the mend and he may return to competitive cricket soon. There is a possibility that the bowler may take the field in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 starting on 13 February.
