Did not get practicals done, now UP board schools are shying away from monitoring cameras; know your face

In the secondary schools run by the UP Board, experiments of class 12 were not conducted throughout the year and now the condition of the schools is pathetic due to the order to conduct practicals between CC cameras. No school is ready to conduct practical under this system. Practicals are almost closed in secondary schools of many districts of the state. Many schools do not have a lab, so where there is a lab, the equipment is broken. For the first time, the Board of Secondary Education has ordered the monitoring of the sector magistrate and the recording of CC cameras to be kept safe in the DBR to keep an eye on the 12th practical examination.

In the investigation, it was found that the children of 12th standard of more than 50 schools never went to the lab in the entire year. Now when the turn of recording has come, the fear of being exposed has started troubling them. Some schools have definitely taken the initiative. Their manager and principal have decorated the lab by purchasing scales, test tubes, tubes, some essential chemicals including physics, bio, chemistry posters, necessary equipment from the market, but the children do not know the methods of practical. In Lucknow, 758 schools are being run by the UP Board. This time 46 thousand children will take the intermediate exam. Practicals of Arts subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Animal, Vegetable, Agriculture are included.


The examination will be conducted under the supervision of the Sector Magistrate. Router devices are fitted with CCTV cameras. Instructions have been given to complete the resources which are less.


There are 308 Inter Colleges in the district, 220 centers have been set up in this, all the examination centers have CCTV cameras. There are labs everywhere but 115 are in dilapidated condition.


There are more than 400 schools in the district. More than 30 class 12th children never went to the lab in the whole year. DIOS said that CCTV and video recording facilities have been made at the centres.


Out of total 511 colleges, 20 do not have labs. In more than 200 practicals were not conducted even on a single day. 250 colleges have better labs and practicals have taken place. Kannauj 52, Fatehpur 53, Hardoi 321, Etawah 64, Orai 80, 102 schools in Farrukhabad do not have labs.


There are 285 centers in Bareilly. All have CCTV cameras and voice recorders. There is no lab in Government High School Kyara and Alinagar Center. Arrangements are incomplete in 15 schools of Shahjahanpur. All schools in Badaun, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri are updated.


Out of total 905 schools, 350 have vacant rooms in the name of labs. If there is no chemical in the chemistry lab, there is no equipment in botany. Many children in Mainpuri, Etah and Kasganj will appear for the exam without doing any experiment. Many school directors will work with recording.


There are three dozen government inter colleges, 181 aided schools and more than 850 unaided schools in the district. The laboratories are in good condition in government schools, but the condition of laboratories in more than half of the aided colleges is not good.


There will be practical examinations in the board between half-incomplete preparations. There are no school centers without cameras in Moradabad. There are no cameras in more than 100 schools of Rampur, Sambhal and Amroha. Officers kept saying that teachers in such schools will upload videos from phones.


There is a problem of lab in some unfunded schools. CCTV cameras are not installed. The practical examination of such schools will be held in other schools. The DIOS informed that the examination will be held between recordings. There is no lab in Chandauli, Mau and Azamgarh.

DIOS of Lucknow Rakesh Pandey said that in October all the principals were directed to repair the practical labs in the schools. This time the intermediate practicals will be under camera supervision. Sector magistrates will monitor the practicals in these schools.
